This website sets no cookies. Not one — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences, not for sessions. That is why you were not asked to accept anything when you arrived. The rest of this page explains what that means, so the statement can be checked rather than taken on trust.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store and send back on later requests, which is how a site recognises a returning browser. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are first-party cookies; those set by other companies whose code runs inside the page — ad networks, analytics providers, embedded players — are third-party cookies, and they are the ones used to follow people between sites.

What this site does instead

stratapoint.online is a set of static HTML, CSS and JavaScript files. It does not set any cookie of its own, and it allows no third party to set one, because no third-party code runs here at all. Specifically, this site contains:

No analytics of any kind — no Google Analytics, no server-side analytics platform, no visit counter.
No advertising or remarketing tags, and no conversion or tracking pixels from any advertising platform.
No social media buttons, embedded posts, comment systems or video players.
No externally hosted fonts, scripts, stylesheets or images. Every file the page loads comes from this domain.
No session identifiers or log-in state, because there is nothing on this site to log in to.
No local storage, no session storage, no IndexedDB, and no device or browser fingerprinting.

Because there is nothing to consent to, there is no consent banner. A cookie notice on a site that sets no cookies would be a false statement about what the site does, which is why none appears here.

The JavaScript that does run

One first-party script is loaded, from /assets/main.js on this domain. It does three things: it opens and closes the navigation menu on small screens, it opens and closes the grouped navigation lists, and it expands the question panels on the home page. It is short, unminified and readable, it makes no network requests, and it touches no storage mechanism.

What is recorded, honestly

One thing is recorded, and it is not a cookie. Like every web server, the hosting provider's server writes a log entry for each request it serves, containing the requesting IP address, the date and time, the URL requested, the response status, the browser's user agent string and any referring page the browser sends. These logs exist to keep the site available and to identify abuse, they are not tied to any identifier stored on your device, and they are retained for up to 30 days in the ordinary course. Leaving this site

Some pages here link to a game publisher's website, and those links are paid links as described on the affiliate disclosure page. Once you follow such a link you are on somebody else's site, and that site may well set cookies of its own. What it does is governed by its own cookie and privacy policies, not by this page. No cookie is set on this domain before, during or after a click, and nothing on this site tracks whether you clicked.

Managing cookies in your browser anyway

Nothing here requires action, but the controls are worth knowing for the rest of the web. Every current browser lets you view the cookies stored for a site, delete them, block third-party cookies and clear everything on exit; they live in the privacy or site-settings section of the browser's settings, and a private window discards cookies when it closes. Blocking cookies will not affect anything here, since none are set.

A commitment about the future

If cookies, analytics, advertising tags or any third-party script are ever introduced here, then before any of it goes live this page will be rewritten to describe exactly what is set, by whom, for what purpose and for how long; the privacy policy will be updated to match; and a working consent mechanism will be in place, so nothing requiring consent is set before it is given.

Open your browser's developer tools and look at the Application or Storage panel: no cookies, empty storage. The Network panel will show requests to this domain only. On a site this simple, verifying the claim takes about a minute.
